We got Spy Sherrif and UnSpy PC yesterday for simply visiting some online library. We've had them before but yesterday's infestation was a good one, it managed to corrupt our antivirus and spyware and chewed up ZoneAlarm's firewall like candy. Took a bit but we managed to nail it all.

I have asked the others here at the Outlands Community why people create such things and have had lots of answers; some of them are speculation as to who would benefit from them, or some others talk about malicious schizoid folks. Whatever, it doesn't really answer "why?" Why would someone:

1. Hack advertising on the Internet and fill it with shit

2. Set it up so that ANYONE can get it?

Since we can assume any energy form we like, we have been talking about actually entering "cyberspace" as energy forms and going after some of this shit. As our energy cannot be compromised or corrupted, we could return the garbage to the creators and let them see their PCs show the ole blue screen. Crackers often run Linux and Unix / Solaris OS but they are not impregnable, as some will be finding out. Do you read me, "malicious?"
