This is Terrence and I am going to attempt a post in Times New Roman font. It seems that both Sara and Roy are driven a little nuts by the way the font and other features at Blogger change without warning. I don't particularly care!

We have been discussing sexual roles assumed by samesex couples. It is not a universal that one is more feminine, one more masculine. This is a cultural myth. At the same token, and here I speak as a man attracted to men, there are a substantial portion of men who wish to experience their Jungian anima, or female-self, and find no better way by which to accomplish this than by having intimate relations with another man. Such men may be passive, receptive and all of the dry terms created by psychologists. This does not, as far as I understand things, correspond exactly to "gay kultcha" and its unique word, "Bottom." The fact remains that I have been with any number of men who say very female things during intimacy, "Possess me!," "Take me!," "Be a man in me!" and the like. I often find this mysterious if fascinating (meaning, I enjoy it!) Sometimes pleasure is mutual; sometimes it is given; and sometimes in mutual pleasure one gives, the other receives, I'm thinking of anal intercourse here. Sweet mystery.
